I.Nath Varma is the co-founder of Navy and Yan. She has more than 25 years of experience in the accounting and IT fields. She holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance and is a Member of the British Computer Society (BCS). She also holds the Chartered IT Professional qualification (CITP) awarded by BCS. Prior to setting up Navy and Yan, she had had significant working experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
I. Nath Varma specialises in accountancy software applications and training and is also a professional web designer and web developper. She has developped a number of websites using the latest web design technology. She also oversees the implementation of audit software (AudTech) that is used by Navy and Yan for conducting statutory audits.
I. Nath Varma has also conducted a lot of research on the use of technology to reduce stress at the workplace. In her spare time, she loves working on meditation and breath control techniques that can lead to the improvement of work performance through reduction of stress. She also conducts online sessions on breath control and meditation techniques with a view to help individuals with stress management.
She was voted Chair of the British Computer Society (Mauritius Branch) for the year 2023-2024. She is currently a Board member.
