Navy and Yan (N&Y) was established in 2005 and is a firm of public accountants and knowledge managers based in Vacoas, Republic of Mauritius, a world known tourist destination and offshore business centre. We are strategically located in Glen-Park, which is a suburb of Vacoas, from where one can easily reach any part of the Island, Centre, North, South, East or West within a minimum amount of time due to the road infrastructure around the area. Large business centres such as Ebene and Port Louis are within 20 to 40 mins travel time depending on traffic. We are easily accessible by car, bus or metro (up to Vacoas Centre). Being located on the high planes, we have an incredible view of a large part of the island from our office, including mountains forming part of the Moka range and Black River range as well as a beautiful view of part of the Indian Ocean on the west of the country. The word "Glen" is synonymous to "valley" and the name Glen-Park was given as many well known mountains of the island can be seen from this area.
Navy and Yan (N&Y) is the business name of Navy and Yan LP, a limited partnership registered in Mauritius. Our time-tested success is built upon understanding the challenges of our clients' businesses and utilizing the intellectual capital of the entire firm to provide solutions that sustain profitability, continuity, and opportunity.
N&Y is recognised by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK as member firm and has also been granted the "Approved Employer Status (Practising Certificate Development)" by the same Association. N&Y is also a member firm of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA) and approved by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) of Mauritius to carry on audit work.
Knowledge Management is the process through which organizations generate value from their intellectual and knowledge-based assets. Most often, generating value from such assets involves codifying what employees, partners and customers know and sharing that information among employees, departments and even with other companies in an effort to devise best practices. Successful knowledge management includes maintaining information in a place where it is easy to access but also engaging in the process of and learning from continuous improvement.
In this age of Information Warfare, we aim to "Turn Knowledge Into Power" for the benefit of our clients, our country and the world in general.
